Magic Truffles for Starters

Magic Truffles for Starters

The start of your journey

People have been using magic mushrooms for centuries for either euphoria, fun or to meet the divine. However, if you are a beginner, like any other journey you would go on, being prepared  is a must if you want best possible experience. Knowing what you are getting yourself into will help you come to terms with any doubts you might have, clearing your mind and ensuring you can focus on having a great trip. That is why we prepared you all the information you need to know about this magical journey.

1. Feel good about yourself and relax

The first and probably the most important tip we can give you is to feel good about yourself. Psilocybin, intensify your moods and emotions, so if you are depressed or angry you have a greater chance of experiencing a bad trip.

This is also why it is often advised to be in a familiar place, surrounded by people you like. If you are a beginner, these first few points we mentioned are especially important to follow. Lastly we strongly advise you to also make sure you have a “sitter” with you during your first trip. A sitter is a person that is sober and trustworthy that can guide you through your journey.

2. Snacks and Drinks

It is beneficial to have drinks and a few light snacks ready to go if you want a good experience. Not only can it be difficult to get to your fridge, trips can last anywhere from 3-6 hours, so it’s wise to hydrate and fill up your stomach during this time. Make sure though that your snacks and drinks don’t contain too much sugar as that might reduce the effects of psilocybin.

3. Take Magic Truffles on a empty stomach

This might sound a bit contradicting, but make sure you don’t eat anything 3 hours before you ingest your truffles. Not only will this help reduce the nausea that often happens during the beginning of a trip, but also helps your body absorb the psilocybin much quicker.

4. Don’t eat or drink other mind-altering substances

If you want to avoid having a bad trip, don’t take anything that might alter your state of mind. Having said that, don’t be taking any antidepressants, alcoholic beverages or any other substances before a trip.

5. Eat the right amount of truffles

The intensity of the effect depend on many different things such as; state of mind, location, body weight, gender and of course, the amount you eat. This makes it near impossible for us to advise you on how much you need to take to start tripping, but we can show you what people generally take to achieve certain effects.

For starters, a mild form of truffles, psilocybin Mexicana, is perfect for beginners. This is unlike anything you have experienced before, so it’s better to start off with something light. You can actually compare this to the swimming lessons you had as a kid. You start off in the shallow part and work your way up to the deep end of the pool.  In case of a bad trip, sugar can help to alleviate the effects of psilocybin to a certain extent, so if you are having a bad experience, don’t hesitate to eat some sugar.

As mentioned before, its hard for us to tell you how much to take, so our advice to you  is to start low and slowly build up your dosage until you reached a level you’re comfortable with. Let us know in the comments how many grams you would take for a light/medium/high trips!

Here is a useful dosing list for fresh magic truffles:

5-10 grams – Light trip
10-15 grams – Medium trip
15-20 grams – Intense trip
20-40 grams – What is life?

6. Things you should know about using Psychoactives

If you do things responsibly, you won’t have anything to worry about. Don’t let anything get to your head, relax and don’t take this to serious. Just follow your intuition and hart and you will be fine!

Having said that, there are a few things you should know about using psychoactives. If you have a documented history of mental illnesses, taking psychoactives will make these conditions worse. The documentation regarding shrooms and truffles is severely lacking, so please take these with caution, even though they are considered the safest psychoactives to use.

In a uncontrolled settings, the user might also get engaged in reckless behaviors, such as driving, self harm or just doing plain and simple stuff that you will regret. That is why a “Sitter” is recommended to be with you at all times during your trip. Things you can experience during good or bad trips can be frightening and mind altering, completely changing the way you perceive reality. This can be for the good, but also for the bad.

Having a bad trip can lead to you developing HPPD (Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder) or also known as flashbacks which will make you recall your bad experience for a long time (anything to a few months to a few years).
