I can't login to my account, what do I do?
The first suggestion would be for you to delete your browser cookies and cache. We find that this resolves 99% of login problems instantly. If you’re still having problems, please email or call us for our assistance and we will look into this further.
I forgot my password. What can I do?
If you have forgotten your password and need to retrieve it, simply click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ link on the login page. This will display a page with a box in which you need to enter the email address you registered your account with. Once this is done, click on the Forgot Password button and an email containing your new password and an activation link will be sent to you. When you receive this email, click on the activation link to activate your new password. You can then log back into your account and change your password to something more memorable by looking in the ‘Change your account details’ section of your account
Can I change my personal details?
You can change some of your account details at any time. To do so, log in to your account and click on ‘Change account details’. Here you can specify a new email address, change name, country details and account details such as your password. If you do not want to be included on Dutch Mushrooms Mailing List, you can remove yourself from the subscription list at the bottom of each newsletter.
Do you have a retail store?
We distribute our Dutch Mushrooms products solely on our online store.

What are the effects of Magic Truffles?
Funny enough the effects Psilocybin share a lot similarities with that of LSD. These include an altered perception, as well as changes in moods and feelings. This is also why you need to 100% happy with yourself before taking truffles. The effects only start to take effect 15 to 30 minutes after consuming truffles and can last anywhere from 3 – 6 hours.

What is the shelf life?
A proximity of 3 months is recommended to keep and use our Dutch Mushrooms, as long as you keep them in a fridge.
When the seal is broken the truffles need to be consumed within 3 days.
How do I use Magic Truffles?
There are two guides you can read on our website that should inform you sufficiently on this matter which you can find below.
- Drink some water or eat some soup prior to eating the truffles.
- Eat the truffles. Chew well and make sure you crunch them down properly.
- Get comfortable and wait for the effects to kick in. You might get some stomach aches, but that’s normal. In roughly 45 minutes the first effects should become noticeable.
- Don’t fight what you see, just go with the flow and stay in a calm and comfortable mental state.
Don’t take truffles more than once a week as you will build up an immunity. Additionally, we can’t guarantee that taking truffles is good for your health, so be careful.
As the effects of magic truffles depends greatly on the person’s physique and mental state. We can’t really tell you how much you should be taking. So, what you can do is start off with a very small amount and write down what you feel or how it is effecting you. Slowly increase the dosage and keep track on what changes. Like this you will be able to find the perfect amount for you.
This generally counts for everything in life, but If you do things responsibly, you won’t have to worry about a thing. Don’t let any negative emotions get to you, relax and don’t stress. Being filled with bad emotions will only increase the risks of a bad trip. Just follow your intuition and your hart!
Having said that, there are a few things you have to know about using truffles and shrooms. If you have a documented history of mental illnesses, taking psychoactive will make your condition worse than they already are. Accurate documentation regarding these substances is lacking, so please take these with caution, even though they are considered the safest to use.
In a uncontrolled settings, the user could get engaged in reckless behaviors, such as driving, self harm or running naked over the street. That is why a “Sitter” is recommended to be with you at all times during the 3-6 hours you are tripping. Things you experience during good or bad trips can be frightening and mind altering, completely changing the way you perceive reality, so take with care and realize this can be for the good, but also for the bad.
Having a bad trip can lead to you developing Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder or also known as “flashbacks”. This condition will make you recall your bad experience for a long time (anything to a few months to a few years).
Are Magic Truffles legal?
Lucky for you and me they are! You see, truffles are not classified as mushrooms, so totally legal here in the Netherlands. Having said that, the regulations change regularly, so its impossible for us to keep track on all the countries restrictions. So its up to you to be up to date on your own countries regulations on the possessions and consumption of the purchased goods.
What is the shelf life of Growkits?
Our kits can be kept in a refrigerator for about 2 months. Once they have fully matured and harvested, you can keep them in a fridge for another 3 days.
How do you use the growkits?
Our Easy-growkits aren’t called easy for nothing. Read our instructions below and you should not run into any problems!
My mushrooms lost some spores?
This means you harvested to late. You know your mushrooms have lost some spoors when you see the mycelium covered in a blackish purple powder. Your mushrooms are still edible, but you won’t be able to get another flush from your growkit.
How do I know my growkit is contaminated?
First of all, contamination is caused by touching the growkit with dirty hands or if it comes in contact with contaminated air. That is why it is important to either wear surgical gloves or wash your hands properly before handling your grow kit. Also make sure your room is clean and the place you are working on is disinfected.
You know your kit is possibly infected when your mycelium, which should be white, is another color or your kit smells really bad.
If your kit has a blue or green color, they mycelium has been bruised. This means its not contaminated and you should be able to grow mushrooms without any problems. A light yellow color indicates your kit is getting old. You should start the growing process as soon as possible as if you still want a normal yield.
If you are growing multiple kits in one area, if you notice one is infected, remove it immediately as your other kits are then at risk of being contaminated as well.
Do I need an account to place an order?
You don’t need to register for an account on Dutch Mushrooms, however when you do have an account it is much easier to look into your recent orders and also makes the ordering process a lot faster.

How do I know that you are a legitimate business?
We have various online companies and are a fully registered B.V company. We are VAT applicable and welcome any inquiries. We also run a SSL certificate , which you can see by the padlock icon at the top of your screen inside the address bar . This means your visiting a secure website. We have real people to answer the phones and we ship and house all of our products in our own warehouse. We display our full address and contact details and you are welcome to email our customer service team with any questions you may have.
What is 'My Cart' and how do I use it?
Think of your shopping cart as an online version of a real shopping cart that you would use whenever you go to the store to buy groceries.
Just like a real shopping cart, you can add items, remove them and change the quantity of each item if you want more than one. To add an item to your shopping cart simply click on ‘Add To Cart‘. When you go to the ‘My Cart’-page, you can make adjustments to any products you may have chosen and can remove any that you added by mistake. You can then either checkout or continue shopping. If you want to access your shopping cart without adding a product, simply click on the View Cart button available in your shopping cart box.
What delivery methods are available?
Dutch Mushrooms has a range of shipping methods to suit both our national and international customers. These vary in cost and delivery time. Depending where you are situated, we use UPS or Asendia for shipping your packages. For shipments within Europe, the estimated time is usually 1 to 5 working days. For anything outside of Europe, it can take up to 10 days. These times may vary due to external circumstances such as weather or customs. Can I return my order?
No, all sales are final. Orders can be refunded prior to fulfillment and shipping but once the order has been fulfilled and/or shipped, no refunds will be issued.

My order seems to be missing in transit
Compensation is available on most delivery methods, with the exception of Standard International Mail. If you feel that your package has been lost in the postal system, please contact us and one of our customer support advisors will help you work with the courier that was transporting your package to resolve the matter.
Placing an order
We know the ordering process should be as simple as possible for you and should not take much steps. After adding one or more products, you can review your cart and place your order. A more detailed instruction can be found here.
Change or cancel your order
Providing you contact us before your order is dispatched and ideally as soon as possible after making the order, you should be able to cancel your order without a problem. To do this, email or call us with your order number to hand. If the order is still being processed, we will cancel the order for you. If it has already been dispatched there is nothing we can do. You can refer to our returns policy for the next stage. When changing your order, please give us a call as soon as possible, preferably right after your order. We will review your order and see if it’s still possible and inform you about any further instructions if needed.
What payment methods are available?
We offer a number of payment methods to suit our customers. The most common way of ordering any item from us is with our credit card option (please note we only accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards). This option is the quickest way of pushing your order through and having it processed and dispatched as soon as possible. If you do not have a credit card, you may choose to pay via an other payment method depending on your location. Read more regarding payments on the Payment Information page.
I haven't received any email after ordering
Whenever you place an order with us, a confirmation email is sent to you with details of the order you have made. As soon as your order is processed and dispatched, a shipping email is sent to you indicating that your order is now in its way to you. If you have not received these emails, it is possible they may have been caught in your spam folder. It is advisable to look through your spam and see if your confirmation emails have appeared there. You can then make adjustments to ensure that they come through to you without issue in the future. If the problem still persists, please do not hesitate to contact us. How do I know if you have received my order?
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation email at the email address you specified. This email will contain a summary of the products you ordered, the total cost and includes an order number which you can quote if you have any queries regarding the status of your order. You will receive a further email as soon as your order has been dispatched, indicating the order is now on its way to you. You can also go to the Order History and view your Order History.
How long will it take to process my order?
The length of time an order takes to be processed is dependent on how your details pass through our system. Whenever a customer places a credit card order, the card information is rigorously checked to ensure maximum security and prevent potential credit card fraud. Your bank will may require security checks to validate your purchase. If all of the details are correctly matched and verified, your order will be processed as soon as possible. If there are any issues, a member of staff may be required to look into the situation and may contact you to verify some details. 99.9% of orders are dispatched same day as the order placed.
Can I track my order?
Yes, you can track your package depending on the delivery method chosen. The tracking number will be sent in a confirmation email as soon as your order is dispatched and on its way to you. If you have chosen a delivery method that does not feature tracking, this will not be available.
If, for some reason, you did not receive a confirmation email when your order is dispatched but would still like to track your parcel, simply email us with your order number and a member of staff will supply you with the tracking number.
Can I track my order status via my account?
Yes, you can check on the status of your order or orders by logging in to your account and clicking on the ‘View current/previous orders’ link. You will then see a page entitled, and a listing of your present and past orders with their status is displayed. You can click on the order number of any particular order listed to see a listing of the products you ordered.
But you can check the tracking number sent to your email.
Payment failed or refused
When you’re ordering with credit card, for some customers it happens payments fail or refuse. Please make sure your credit card:
- does allow international or e-commerce payments yet.
- does have the extra 3D Secure Code.
Please contact your bank to activate international payments and/or to request a 3D Secure Code. A 3D Secure Code are not the 3 digits CVC/CVV-code on the back side.
How secure are my credit card details?
We pride ourselves on a second-to-none security system which uses 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your personal information is transferred to us safely. At no point do we see your card details and we do not have access to them. They are stored on a secure server and are encrypted for your protection.
How does a transaction appear on my bank statement?

Can I use my PayPal account to order seeds?
No, unfortunately PayPal does not allow payments with the kind of products we are selling on our webshop. Please use one of our other available payment methods.
Can I pay my order with bank transfer?
At Dutch Mushrooms you’re able to complete your order by Bank Transfer. Once you’ve passed the checkout screen with Bank Transfer enabled, you need to transfer the amount of your order including shipping costs directly into our bank account. If you choose to, please send us a confirmation email after your transaction has been made with the following information:
- Order Reference Number
- Date of Transfer
- Amount of Transfer
- Currency of Transfer
Can I pay my order with cash?
Yes, you can pay orders at Dutch Mushrooms by sending cash, although this isn’t recommended due to possible theft or loss in the post, which we cannot be held responsible for. If you do choose to send cash, we would advise that you seal and secure the cash as discretely and securely as possible. We would also recommend that the cash is sent with insured postage and only using paper cash.
I think I may have been charged too much for my order. Why is this?
If you think you may have been charged more than you expected, it is more than likely because we take all of our payments in Euros. This means that, in most cases, the amount specified on your bank statement is correct but is simply in your own currency, not European currency. For this reason, we ask that all our overseas customers please convert the amount showing on their bank statement into Euros and see if the amount is correct. If it is not correct and you still feel there is an issue, please contact us and we will be happy to look into the matter further.
